Official Alamance County Contacts

The Alamance County Sheriff’s Office and Alamance County Detention Center share the following Graham address:

Alamance County Sheriff’s Office
ATTN: Public Records Requests
109 S. Maple Street
Graham, NC 27253

Call 336-570-6300 for the sheriff’s main non-emergency line, 336-570-6777 for communications/non-emergency service, or 336-570-6317 for the Detention Center. The front office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except holidays. Emergency services operate continuously. Public-record requests must be written and may be submitted through the ACSO Public Records page or mailed to the address above.

Use the channel that matches the question:

  • For a booking record or releasable booking photograph, follow the request steps on the home page and send a written request to ACSO.
  • For someone booked during the current day, start with 24 Hour Arrests. Use the Arrest Log for a broader multi-day review.
  • For current county custody, use the ACSO P2C inmate list described on the jail-roster guide. For release or transfer notifications, use the VINELink Check.
  • For warrants or a final case result, consult the Alamance County Clerk or the North Carolina Judicial Branch. ACSO directs arrest- and search-warrant requests there.
  • For an incident or arrest report created by a municipal officer, contact Burlington, Mebane, or Graham police records rather than the jail.
  • For a person serving a state sentence or supervised on probation or parole, use the NC DAC Offender Public Information search. It does not contain routine county-jail records.
  • For federal or immigration detention, consult the federal Bureau of Prisons or ICE locator. Neither is replaced by the county roster.
